Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida is seeking a research oriented clinician at the Assistant/ Associate/Professor level to pursue a tenure or non-tenure track career in the Division of Genetics and Metabolism. The Department provides comprehensive clinical care and diagnostic genetics services to pediatric patients referred for the evaluation of genetic disorders. The division's mission is to
effectively teach medical genetics to students and residents at all levels of their training, and to conduct clinical and molecular-based genetics research and expert clinical care. The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida-College of Medicine is the premier academic medical center for children in northern Florida, and hosts a broad range of NIH-funded biomedical scientists and clinical researchers
who benefit from robust institutional support. There is an abundance of research opportunities and possibilities for collaboration throughout the university. The position will provide genetic care services to patients in numerous locations including: Tallahassee/Pensacola outreach clinics, Pediatrics Specialties clinics, and UF Health Shands Children's Hospital, Telemedicine and any other locations established or
expanded. Effort will be devoted to the FL DOH CMS Longterm Genetics and NBS contract. Incumbent will also participate in teaching housestaff, fellows and medical students assigned to inpatient and outpatient services.
