University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is recruiting for one full-time faculty member in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in Geriatric Medicine and as Co-Director of the Healthy Aging in a Digital World Initiative. Faculty in the Clinical X series is expected to engage in professional competence and activity,
teaching, research and creative work, and University/public service. Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are expected to engage in teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University/public service. The Co-Director of the Healthy Aging in a Digital World Initiative from the School of Medicine will work in partnership with the Co-Director of the Healthy
Aging in a Digital World Initiative from the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, and will build upon strong connections with the Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC), Family Caregiving Institute (FCI), the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC), and the College of Engineering (COE) to advance research discerning optimal supports for older adults with dementia and other complex health care needs. primary purpose of this is to build capacity and advance research and collaborations that improve the health and well-being of older adults.
