invites applications for Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, and Program Director, Medical Physics , Department of Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences, School of Integrated Health Sciences [R0150483] ROLE of the POSITION The UNLV School of Integrated Health Sciences is accepting applications for a qualified medical physicist to serve as Program Director for the Department of Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences’

CAMPEP-accredited therapeutic medical physics programs (masters, certificate, PhD and doctor of medical physics.) The department has access to a number of on-campus research facilities including state-of-the art detection labs and a high-field (3T) clinical MR scanner. This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track or tenured position in the Department of Health Physics and Diagnostic Sciences. Primary responsibilities

include: Providing guidance with all medical physics programs Serving as the point of contact for communications between UNLV and CAMPEP Serving as an advisor/mentor to medical physics students Participating in clinical site visits Participating in exams to evaluate clinical competency of students Participating in department seminars (e.g. giving presentations to students about clinical physics, job opportunities,
