Position description The University of California, Davis, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for a Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to serve as teaching attending physician in

its Adult Behavioral Health Center and Integrated Behavioral Health Services serving a culturally diverse patient population. The applicant will also be supervising general psychiatry residents with their adult cases, and both general and combined residents in IM/Psych FM/Psych. Time is allocated for didactic teaching, case conferences, and supervision. In addition, the applicant will engage in scholarly or creative

activities derived from and in support of their clinical teaching, professional and service activities. The candidates will also evaluate and treat their own patients. The incumbent will provide teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, participate in appropriate professional societies and educational organizations, provide service to department and school committees. This individual

should also have ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment and adhere to University policies and procedures. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has approximately 65 residents in six residency training programs and 90 faculty and staff psychiatrists and psychologists at the UC Davis Medical Center and the Northern California VA Health System. The Department
