Position description The Department of Anthropology seeks a Biological Anthropology and Archaeology Lecturer (ANT 1), Introduction to Archaeology (ANT 3), and Ancient Animals and People (ANT 25), Introduction to Forensic Anthropology (ANT 56), pending administrative approval and funding, for the academic year 2026-2027. Demonstrated

experience in teaching and an advanced degree in Anthropology or related discipline is required. We will prioritize recent graduate students who have worked closely with the Anthropology program at Davis.
