Adjunct Professor series (non-tenure track). Criteria for the Professor in the Adjunct Series: Adjunct Professor series faculty engage in teaching, University and public service, which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in research and/or other creative and professional activities. The successful candidate will participate in research and teaching, perform University and public service, and

demonstrate professional competency and activity appropriate to the Adjunct Professor series. The appointee is expected to apply for extramural funding to support their research program. The position is dependent upon funding availability. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and will be consistent with the posted UC salary scales. The initial appointment will be for one year, with

renewal dependent upon performance, programmatic need, and availability of funding.
