General Benefits Status: Temporary Months Worked: No Response Job Summary: The School of the Humanities (part of the Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences) at Fairleigh Dickinson University (https://www.fdu.edu/) is looking for part-time (adjunct) faculty to teach in-person sections of Ethics and possibly other Philosophy courses starting in Spring 2024. Sections are 3 credit hours and meet Monday-Thursday,
Tuesday-Friday, or as a double block on different days including Wednesday. You can teach one course or several. If you are successful in the position, teaching should be available every semester going forward. Our immediate need for Spring 2024 (semester starting January 22, see https://www.fdu.edu/academics/academic-calendar/) is three sections of Ethics, Monday and Thursday 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM and 11:30 AM – 12:45
PM Eastern, and Tuesday and Friday, 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM Eastern.
