Adjunct Professor for American Sign Language Description: Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor of American Sign Language to teach courses in the undergraduate program. Applicants should be able to teach in-person. Part-time adjuncts are contracted term-by-term based on course/section need and availability. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians,

committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning. Responsibilities: This is a part-time adjunct faculty position for two sections of Elementary American Sign Language I, one hour three times per week; and two lab sections of one hour per week. Primary duties

include preparing for and conducting classes, grading, evaluating, and assessing students, maintaining accurate records and demonstrating excellent classroom management.
