The positions are in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures within the College of Arts and Sciences. Candidates should have a Master’s degree or higher and experience teaching languages. Teaching loads are one to two courses per semester at the elementary, intermediate, or Advanced
levels. All classes are taught in person. Duties and Responsibilities: · Provide high-quality, student-centered instruction across various levels.· Design, administer and evaluate student assignments and assessments in strict alignment with departmental curriculum guidelines.· Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assessments.· Manage accurate student records in Canvas and follow
all deadlines for timely submission of grades.· Coordinate periodically with full-time faculty and language program directors to ensure instructional alignment.· Participate in Department events as needed.Specific duties and schedule depend on the course.
