Bookmark this Posting Print Preview | Apply for this Job Position Details Position Information Position Title Adjunct (NON - CREDIT) Reports To Director of Extensions Programs Functions and Responsibilities Job Summary The Adjunct will be responsible for

planning and delivering high-quality instruction to adult learners. The instructor will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to support students in achieving set learning goals. Additionally, the instructor will collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials. Please Note: Essex County College does not provide visa sponsorship of any kind. Candidates

must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and for the duration of employment. Supervisory Role Duties & Responsibilities 1. Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of adult

learners. 2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. 3. Assess and evaluate students’ development, providing constructive feedback and support. 4. Collaborate with the Director to develop and enhance curriculum materials. 5. Stay current with best practices in instruction and integrate innovative teaching methods. 6. Communicate effectively with

students, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning community. 7.
