preparation in literacy. In addition, we offer a Masters of Science in Education (leading to professional teacher certification and second initial certificate in literacy for teachers who hold a NY state certification). The successful candidate(s) must show a commitment to diversity (learning, ethnic, SES, language), and use of technology in instruction. A doctorate in literacy or related fields is strongly
preferred.
