The CSM Velocity Center Makerspace is a collaborative workspace for making, learning, exploring, and sharing. It is equipped with a variety of maker equipment including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC router, graphic design printers, electronics
equipment, and more. The CSM Velocity Center Makerspace is looking for experts in technical fields, such as, but not limited to graphic design and electronics to teach classes that embrace the makerspace philosophy of hands-on experiential learning. The Velocity Center Makerspace looks for instructors to teach makerspace skill-building curriculum that use a variety of applications, tools, and practices in new and
emerging technologies in related fields and entrepreneurship. All skill levels are encouraged to apply. All instructors must receive basic safety and equipment safety training. Instructors will develop and implement engaging curriculum (or use an existing quality curriculum) and develop lesson plans that emphasize creations, creativity, experimentation, and applied usage of makerspace equipment.
