Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Deaf Education, Master's in Special Education with emphasis in Deaf/Hard of
Hearing, Master's in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education, Master's in Adult Education with emphasis in Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or other closely related field or Bachelor's degree and otherwise qualified. Commitment to teaching utilizing precepts from deaf/hard of hearing cultural contexts. Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching others at multiple experience levels. Experience using active responding techniques to
increase language development. Special consideration will be given to qualified individuals who are native or near native ASL proficiency and have cultural expertise.
