Information Position Title Adjunct Instructor Pool, Student Success Center Unit Name Student Success Center Salary Grade Faculty Number of Months Time-limited Full-time or Part-time Part-Time Hours per week Less than 10 hours Annual Salary or Hourly Rate Range Essential Duties Provides a high commitment to quality teaching in an in-person or online setting. Maintains regular and substantive interaction with students

in an online setting. Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handouts. Maintains student attendance record, grades, and other required records. Performs all other relevant duties as required. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in education or academic discipline OR Bachelors degree with 18 graduate credit hours in discipline OR Bachelors degree with advanced certifications and

teaching experience. Proven teaching experience.at secondary or college level. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to work with students and colleagues Job Description Summary The Student Success Center anticipates the need for part-time, non-tenure track positions working with and preparing at-risk students for college success. Adjunct instructors may be needed to teach courses in Learning

Skills, Intermediate Reading, or Academic Recovery courses. Background Check Statement Prior to hiring, the final candidate(s) must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation.
