Onsite Position Details Position Information Posting Number A0232026 Department Name Music Position Summary The University of Central Arkansas is searching for an Adjunct Collaborative Pianist. The faculty member is responsible for serving as accompanist for ensembles, recitals, degree recitals, faculty recitals, guest artist recitals,

and instruction as needed. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The position is adjunct.The Department of Music in the College of the Arts Humanities and Social Sciences enjoys endowments and private scholarship funds of approximately $2 million, annual university performance scholarships of over $850,000, a visiting artist series, and NASM accreditation. Many

performances are presented in the state-of-the-art, 1100+-seat, Donald W. Reynolds Performance Hall and the new Windgate Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, a 100,000 sq ft arts space in the heart of the campus, home to Music Art, and Theatre. The department serves 250+ majors and minors, and offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees: BA, BM (Music Education, Composition, Performance, Piano Pedagogy, and

Jazz and Studio Music), MM (Music Education, Performance, Conducting, Theory), as well as a Graduate Performance Certificate program. The faculty is composed of no fewer than 33 full-time and approximately 18 adjunct members, most of whom have national and international reputations. Job Duties and Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include collaborative piano work, ensemble accompaniment, student degree

recitals, graduate recitals, faculty recitals, and guest artists as assigned.
