levels of experience. Communicate information and instructions with clarity and patience. Assist in selecting projects appropriate to the student’s skill level. Have working understanding of all aspects of furniture upholstery. Duties Develop lesson plans. Organize the lab and keep machines in good working order. Teach all aspects of furniture upholstery, stripping down, pattern making and use of tools. Minimum
Requirements 1. Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience in all aspects of furniture upholstery;2. Two years’ teaching upholstery. Preferred Qualifications 1. Some training in Furniture Upholstery (class or on-the-job training.)2. Knowledge of Consew Industrial Sewing Machines.3. Ability to clean and service sewing machines.
