Department Summary Since 1970, Oregon Tech’s original program has been located on its Klamath Falls residential campus in southern Oregon. The program is known for its community outreach and low student-to-faculty ratio of 5:1 for clinic experiences, and 10:1 for labs. Enrollment in the professional program is limited in Klamath Falls to 20-22 students per year. Enrollment in the pre-dental hygiene courses is open to
anyone meeting Oregon Tech admission requirements. One year of prerequisite (pre-dental hygiene) coursework is required for students prior to entry into the professional program. Pre-requisite courses may be taken at any community college or university and transferred in to Oregon Tech following our transfer guide.
