The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for course preparation, delivery, grading, and records management of courses taught in the BioAg PRO (BioAgriculture Program Readiness Opportunity) program. The adjunct instructor will work closely with the Program Director, faculty, and staff on matters related to and for the benefit of the Science and Math Guided Career Pathway
and its students. Examples of Duties Provide accessible, quality learning experiences for all courses, as assigned, for the full duration of scheduled instruction, including seated, online, and hybrid, as needed at any of Durham Tech’s instructional sites.Be prepared with a syllabus and instructional plans for each class session in accordance with the course's stated objectives.Enforce academic policy and procedures
and comply with institutional rules and regulations.Maintain complete course and student records, reports, and forms.Stay current with developments in agriculture and plant science.Collaborate with the Program Director and Curriculum Developer to ensure that the program is meeting the needs of business and industry; Collaborate with the Life Sciences Career Development Specialists to coordinate career development
