Preferred Education/Training/Experience Can teach Texas Government. Can teach face-to-face courses. Dual credit and online teaching experience. Minimum Knowledge & Skills Detailed knowledge of materials being taught in the specific course and program area;Communication, interpersonal
skills as applied to interaction with students, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction;Basic computer literacy sufficient to perform job duties;Knowledge of student engagement techniques, learning styles, retention strategies, and learning-centered philosophy;Experience with or willingness to learn the latest teaching/learning
technologies and online instruction; and Record keeping procedures. Preferred Knowledge & Skills Familiar with D2L Ability to create original lecture videos/audio for online courses Most preferred: Ability to teach Texas Government Job Duties Classroom and/or Online assignment(s) as needed. The most immediate need is for 1-2 lecture classes in a live classroom format (on campus). Licensing/Certification Requirements
