the Good Life course in the APU Core, our general education program. This integrated humanities course taken by second-semester students can be taught by qualified faculty with expertise in philosophy, literature, history, or the arts. In this course, students engage with a series of compelling works, both classic and contemporary, exploring the care of the soul, family and friendship, freedom, beauty, and meaning.
Nine weeks of shared content are supplemented by six weeks of instructor-selected content that aligns with the course theme. Most sections of the course will be offered in-person on the Azusa campus, but it is possible that a small number of sections may be taught in an online synchronous modality. Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to deliver instruction in the manner determined by the
department. In addition, faculty responsibilities may include:Preparation of syllabus and teaching of curriculum according to the goals and objectives of the department.Student advising and on campus hours in relation to the course load carried, and as assigned in the faculty teaching assignment.Participation in faculty meetings and departmental activities as identified by the department chair or program director,
