Adjuncts supplement the
faculty of a department whenever additional faculty are needed. Adjuncts hold appointments as defined by their letter of appointment, without eligibility for tenure; where authorized by the Dean, adjunct appointments may be renewed. Adjunct appointment does not guarantee course assignments. Required Qualifications All faculty must have at least a Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with current clinical
experience. Unencumbered Virginia licensure eligibility is required. Current CPR certification is required. If certified as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), continued certification is expected. Preferred Qualifications: 3 years of registered nurse experience preferred. Experience as instructor or adjunct faculty preferred. National certification in specialty preferred. Special Instructions to Applicants
