Education and Experience Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education including 18 graduate hours in Speech
required.Three years of teaching experience at the postsecondary or secondary level in an appropriate academic discipline is preferred. Experience with online or technology- enhanced curriculum is preferred. Knowledge Skills and Ability Demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught. Ability to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students. Computer skills including Word,
WordPerfect, downloading and installing software, sending and receiving emails with attachments.Preference will be given to applicants living in Texas due to finger printing requirements. Essential Functions Teaches assigned classes using syllabi, tests, and textbooks approved by the department in accordance with established professional practices in the teaching area. Grades, evaluates, and monitors student progress
and keeps accurate records for all classes taught. Provides feedback and communicates with students in a timely manner. Maintains professional skills, subject expertise, and technology skills through continual involvement in development activities.
