Job Description: Teaches a variety of respiratory care courses (didactic and laboratory) related to the Respiratory

Care discipline including, but not limited to: equipment, patient assessment and pulmonary disease management, acid-base, respiratory care pharmacology, laboratory course (general therapeutics and mechanical ventilation).Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomes Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handoutsEvaluates and grades students’ class work,

laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinationsMaintains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlinesBe available to students for coaching Periodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and development Required Qualifications: Current State of Ohio license and RRT credential verified by the National

Board for Respiratory Care Baccalaureate degree from an accredited academic institution, recognized by the USDEMinimum 4 years’ experience as an RRT; of which 2 years include experience in clinical respiratory care Proficiency or the ability to become proficient in learning management systems (e.g. Blackboard) and instructional technologiesDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)Advanced
