Description: Teaches a variety of courses including Recording Theory, Digital Recording, Location Recording and Recording Labs and other department classes as assigned. Prepares and delivers learning activities in order to achieve course outcomesPrepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and handoutsEvaluates and grades students’ class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and
examinationsMaintains and submits student attendance records, grades and other required documentation by specified deadlinesBe available to students for coachingPeriodic meetings with supervisors, division, or College, relative to teaching duties and training and development Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a Recording Arts related fieldMinimum of 2 years full-time audio industry experience (studio, live
sound, music business)Demonstrated ability with current digital software applications for Windows and Macintosh Operating SystemsDemonstrated experience in current Pro Tools for Windows and MacintoshAbility to certify as licensed Avid Pro Tools InstructorDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent)Advanced communication (verbal, written and interpersonal) and organizational skillsAppropriately
