Hood Campus. The instructor's duties and responsibilities are teaching students and performing a variety of administrative duties.Compensation is based on type of course and number of students, paid by Part time employment agreement. Education and Experience Master’s degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education with at least 18 graduate semester

credits in PHYSICAL SCIENCE related to the coursework to be taught is required. Knowledge Skills and Ability Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.Demonstrated ability to teach subject matter through education, experience, and skills.Commitment to working with diverse and under prepared student populations.Strong written and verbal

communication skills.Ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.Knowledge of academic integrity standards and college-level expectationsCommitment to equity, access, and student success.Must be efficient with using computers and learning various electronic systems such as Etrieve (electronic forms), Eagle Self Service and Blackboard.
