Position Summary: This position is primarily responsible for teaching the phlebotomy courses in Nursing & Allied Health Division. Under the supervision of the Medical Laboratory Technology Program Director, the primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality instruction and supervision of student learning while maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Teaching responsibilities

include classroom and laboratory instruction. The faculty responds to students in a timely manner and communicates with the discipline and division via college-provided tools and resources This is a 9-month adjunct position in the Nursing & Allied Health Division. Prepares instructional materials such as lectures, presentations, and lab sessions. Uses various learning assessments to evaluate student mastery of course

and program outcomes Provides feedback on student's progress, in a timely manner, to facilitate academic success Prepares and submits required documentation including course syllabi, student attendance, final course grades and other information as requested or required by the college Coordinates outreach with development and maintenance of relationships with industry-related personnel and employers Disseminates

current information pertaining to services available to students throughout the college Maintains professional development/growth according to personal needs and requirements for certification Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes. Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population. Proficient in Microsoft Office
