Instructors

will teach a maximum of 19.5 hours.Adjunct (part-time), semester-based employment with compensation based on course load and institutional pay schedule. Education and Experience Master Degree with eighteen graduate hours in Mathematics.Qualified to teach Contemporary Mathematics, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Finite Math, Business Calculus, PreCalculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra. One year teaching

experience preferred. Knowledge Skills and Ability Willingness to teach traditional, online & dual credit courses. Demonstrate a high level of verbal and writing skills as well as computational skills.Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.Demonstrated ability to teach subject matter through education, experience, and skills.Commitment to working with diverse and under prepared student

populations.Ability to explain complex concepts in accessible ways.Knowledge of academic integrity standards and college-level expectationsCommitment to equity, access, and student success.Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff.Experience using educational technology and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard) Must be efficient with using computers and learning various electronic

systems such as Etrieve (electronic forms), Eagle Self Service and Blackboard.
