The Department of Writing Program invites applications for adjunct faculty to serve as Lab Instructors for WRIT 120.
Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to deliver instruction in the manner determined by the department. In addition, faculty responsibilities may include:Facilitate Weekly Labs: Lead 50-to-75-minute lab sessions focused on drafting, peer review, and rhetorical exercises.One-on-One Coaching: Provide individualized feedback on student papers, focusing on thesis development, organization,
and mechanics.Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Course Instructor to ensure lab activities align with the main lecture curriculum.Student Support: Help students overcome "writing anxiety" and develop sustainable research habits.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required. Current enrollment in a Master’s or Doctoral program (English, Composition, Education, or related field) is highly
