Summary Adjunct faculty in the Data Science graduate program are subject matter experts in their field and integrate professionally relevant, diverse examples into their teaching and discussions. They meet the following expectations: Prepare and facilitate course lectures and learning online or in-person. Maintain weekly office hours and consistent presence in assigned course(s). Model and promote critical thinking
as well as skill development. Provide specific, relevant, timely feedback and grading. Model and uphold academic standards and practices. Required Qualifications MS. Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or professional relevant experience. Content knowledge of assigned courses Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching a the University level to undergraduate or graduate students Experience mentoring
students Experience working with the required programming languages for relevant courses Work Schedule Work schedule will depend on the courses taught. While the University's administrative offices are open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas.
