The ideal candidate will be able to meaningfully integrate their Christian faith into teaching in their discipline. The
applicant will be expected to teach both on-campus and online courses. An earned Ph.D. in Criminal Justice; Juris Doctorate; combination of a PhD in Criminal Justice and Juris Doctorate; or a master's level degree and five or more years of specialized, professional experience in criminal justice is required. Practical criminal justice and/or law practice experience and previous undergraduate teaching experience is
preferred. The candidate must have excellent research, communication, mentoring, and organizational skills, as well as a knowledge of online learning platforms and Microsoft office programs. Expectations include 1) a dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level courses; 4) facility with online instructional
technology; and 5) a willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith.
