Work Schedule: part-time/12-months Department: 232-Nursing Position Summary: Villanova University College of Nursing has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct (part-time) faculty to provide instruction in the classroom for the advanced pathophysiology course. Duties and Responsibilities: Understand the course objectives for the course which adjunct faculty is assigned and be familiar with the overall curriculum of the College of Nursing. Provide supervision of students in the classroom (in-person or

online) or clinical setting. If a clinical course, visit students in their precepted clinical sites at least two times a semester. Provide supervision of students in weekly case presentations groups. Prepare student to develop competent clinical decision-making capability by facilitating sound clinical reasoning and critical thinking techniques. Foster communication skills with preceptors and course faculty. Validate

students’ understanding of theoretical, scientific, and evidence based practice. If in clinical course, evaluate students’ clinical practice and provide feedback to students on their accomplishment of clinical objectives by completing a formal Clinical Evaluation.
