Clinical Preceptor is responsible for the clinical instruction of Essex County College Radiography students within the assigned clinical site.Clinical Instructors must be approved by the JRCERT and NJDEP.Please Note: Essex County College does not provide visa sponsorship of any kind. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of

Supervisory Role Duties & Responsibilities Prepare room assignments consistent with each semester’s clinical objectives. Ensure that students follow the room assignment schedule and make adjustments as
needed to meet contingencies. Monitor student clinical attendance and punctuality while maintaining student clinical records of attendance, competencies and evaluation. Be available in the radiology department and evaluate clinical competency during student rotations. Encourage student critical thinking, analysis, and self evaluation. Counsel and advise students as needed and provide documentation. Complete
radiographic image evaluations as per the program’s set requirements per semester. Communicate with the radiography department staff regarding student progress when appropriate. Communicate with the College Clinical Coordinator regarding student problems and clinical progress. Attend Clinical Preceptor / Radiography department meetings at the College. Calculate and submit student semester grade as per the program’s
