We are looking for Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Medical-Surgical/Critical Care, and Mental Health instructors with a minimum of one year of continuous direct patient care
nursing experience or teaching as a clinical instructor in one of these clinical areas within the last five years. Applicants must hold a current active and unencumbered California RN license. The instructor is expected to be on site with the students during the clinical experience. Essential Functions: Supervise and facilitate student learning in the clinical setting and skills lab. Assess student knowledge and
skill level to ensure safety and best care for patients. Conduct pre- and post- conference to clarify objectives, communicate expectations and to allow students to discuss and share learned experiences. Evaluate student performance providing feedback to support student success Attend department, program, and/or clinical level meetings Minimum qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
