Class Summary To provide instruction within the Human Service Careers Department. To develop and revise curriculum and course work. To provide scheduled office hours for student advisement. To attend department meetings, training and other mandatory college events. To assist with site inspections by TDLR, and to monitor compliance with TDLR standards. To maintain inventory records and request orders. To participate
in mandatory college training and professional development. To serve on college committees as needed and assigned. To participate in adjunct mentoring activities as needed and assigned within the department. years’ experience in the field of Barbering.Must be competent with computer programs such as Microsoft Office. Preferred Education/Training/Experience Five years or more experience in the field of Barbering.Specialty training or certificates in the field of Barbering.Experience teaching Barbering.Associate Degree or higher.Competent with Social Media for business. content.Thorough knowledge of TDLR rules and regulations, and exam requirements.Ability to work with a diverse population.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Knowledge & Skills Syllabus preparation, course scheduling, experience with salon software, product inventory, and ordering.
