The Department of Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Grades, Reading, and Special Education in the College of Education at Fayetteville State University invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position at the Adjunct Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall 2026. This is a non-tenure-track position. The successful candidate will hold an earned doctorate in Elementary Education, Early Childhood
Education, Educational Leadership, or a closely related field from an accredited university. A minimum of three years of successful K–6 teaching experience is required. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, assessing student learning outcomes, and participating in departmental, college, and accreditation activities as assigned by the Dean and Department Chair.
