for the title of Lecturer. This position is teaching-intensive (90%) and includes expectations for service (10%). It is a renewable position with opportunities for advancement, progressing from Lecturer to Senior Lecturer to Principal Lecturer. The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality biology instruction to undergraduates at the Higher Education Center in McAllen. In particular, the department has
needs in its two-course Introductory Biology series, upper-level courses in Integrated Human Anatomy and Physiology, and writing-intensive courses (BIOL 111, 112, 319, 320, 401, 402, 403).
