Medicine is recruiting for 1 full-time faculty member in the Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank in Gastroenterology. Faculty in the Clinical X series are expected to engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research and creative work, and University/public service. Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are
expected to engage in teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University/public service. EXPECTATIONS The position will be primarily dedicated to providing outstanding general gastroenterology care and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. The final candidate will be expected to provide gastroenterology consultation and endoscopy services at ambulatory
sites located in the greater Sacramento region and share in call at the UC Davis Medical Center. Educational responsibilities will include supervision of consultations and procedures by fellows, residents, and medical students as well as providing lectures to various audiences. This recruitment is conducted at the assistant/associate rank. The resulting hire will be at the assistant/associate rank, regardless of the
