Position description The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting for a full-time Professor (all ranks) to join the Abdominal Imaging Section. Clinical responsibilities will comprise coverage of all abdominal imaging inpatient and outpatient services at all hospitals (currently 4) and outpatient imaging centers
(currently 13) in a rapidly expanding academic health system, UCLA Health. This position encompasses all major diagnostic (CT, MR, fluoroscopy, and Ultrasound) modalities, performance of image-guided procedures, and on-call/weekend coverage. The candidate will supervise and teach outstanding abdominal imaging fellows and excellent radiology residents. The Department is seeking candidates with the potential for being
outstanding in the above-noted requirements, in clinical work, in research, in teaching, and in having a clear commitment to enhancing the faculty, staff, and clinical trainees. Qualifications Basic qualifications The candidate must be board-certified in radiology, fellowship trained in abdominal imaging, and eligible for California licensure. Preferred qualifications This position requires superior clinical,
procedural, and teaching skills. Excellent knowledge and experience in abdominal and pelvic CT, MRI, Ultrasound (US), Gastrointestinal and Genitourinary contrast studies are required, and non-vascular intervention skills in the abdomen are highly favored.
